OPENING: Meeting called to order @ 8:00pm by President,
Paul Jusino, who thanked National Park Boat Club and Commodore Fran
Williams. Commodore Williams
acknowledged National Parks princess and thanked everyone for attending.

Vice President and Financial Secretary.

and Yearbook.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
President: Juice thanked everyone for coming out and
thanked DRYL for the Get Well basket.
Juice also thanked John for running the meeting. Hoped everyone enjoyed 2009 boating season
and urged all to get out to events.
Yearbook cover contest moved to December @ FSA.

NJ Legislation: John Honer nothing going
on at the present time.
Pageant: Toni Nespola National Park Princess thanked
everyone for coming. Toni gave financial
report on 2009 pageant and reported a $544 loss. Toni is working on 2010 pageant and is going
to make some changes for next year.
There will be a contest for 2010 pageant theme which will be decided at
the February 2010 meeting. Toni is going
to try to get more clubs to recruit princesses.
Let your princess know if her club is going to cover her (and her date)
banquet ticket(s). 2010 pageant will be
at the Seaport Museum on August 7, 2010.
Picnic: Marie Houseworth no
report.
Public Affairs: Bill Garwood mentioned
that PA and DE have joined forces to block Army Corps of Engineers widening of
Delaware River channel along with NJ opposing dredging. However, permits have been issued.
Regatta: Fred Saunders no report.
Safe Boating: Frank Gilbert no report.
Shoreline Planning: Joe Campbell no report.
Webmaster: Paul Jusino/Ben Lewitt website has been
updated recently.
Yearbook: Denise Leo no report. Yearbook is looking for new chairperson. Cover contest is tabled until December
meeting.
Boater Voter: Joe Campbell no report.
CBYCA: Bob Williams no report. Next meeting is
November 15th at Bush River.
National
Boating Federation (NBF): Bob Williams no report.
Meeting was in Las Vegas. Bob
will have report at December meeting.
Pennsylvania Boating
Association - SE (PBA): Bill Garwood Next meeting is November 18th at Delaware
River YC. Presentation by new madam
commander of Philadelphia Coast Guard.

No new information on Rails to Trails
·
Juice is going to meet with Delaware Riverfront Corp who is looking to
install a bike trail along stretch of river.
· Motion to have DRYL Queens expenses covered for the CBYCA Ball - $300 - passed.
· In addition, DRYL pay for President and First Ladys expenses be paid passed
· Question was raised if there was any information on fees to clubs for moorings from NJ Tidelands Committee as well as dock placement permit fees on NJ waters. John Honer will research further.
· Recording Secretary Baskets - $68.98
· Check for Queen for CBYCA Ball - $300
· Ron mentioned many DRYL yearbooks from past years available at FSA.
FINANCIAL
REPORTS
Checkbook
opening balance for November was $15,197.04.
Financial secretary reported income of $455.00 while Phyllis Blackeby
reported disbursements of $368.98, resulting in a checkbook closing balance of
$15,283.06. A motion was made, seconded and approved to pay the bills
